
The Australian Dental Association NSW has reappointed Dr Dominic Aouad for a second consecutive term as president. Joining him is Dr Jodie Olivier, who has also been re-elected as vice-president.
Dr Aouad is a highly accomplished general dentist and partner at his own practice in Sydney. In addition to his role as president, he serves as a board director and previously held the position of vice-president in 2022-23.
Dr Aouad also chaired the Filling the Gap dental charity and has previously served the Dental Council of NSW, as both a professional officer and an authorised person. His extensive involvement in ADA committees highlights his dedication to advancing the profession.
Dr Aouad holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and he co-founded Dental Compliance Australia, a company committed to enhancing compliance and patient outcomes across the dental sector.
In recognition of his leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, he was awarded the ADA Valuable Service Award for effectively communicating critical policy and regulatory changes to the profession.
Additionally, Dr Aouad is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), further cementing his reputation as a strategic leader.
