It is once again time to gather nominations to recognise the brightest stars among the dental profession. After all, the real heroes, the ones who make an exemplary contribution to their chosen field, are usually not the type of people to sing their own praises. This applies to dentistry as much as any other profession.
That’s why the Australian Dental Association is asking you to nominate someone you know who has made or is making a significant national contribution to furthering dentistry and/or the profession in a particular field of dentistry; dentistry as a whole; or the community as a whole.
Do you know someone who
- has made/is making a significant difference in their community;
- plays a key role in promoting oral health;
- volunteers their time and energy to working with disadvantaged groups, either in Australia or overseas;
- or plays a pivotal role in the profession?
If so, then the ADA wants to hear from you.
