I used the same set daily for the next nine years and finally upgraded in 2022. They are an exceptional aid to performing dentistry.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-s-good-about-it\">What\u2019s good about it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The biggest advantage of Orascoptic loupes is that it allows me to perform a better quality of dentistry because I can see everything so clearly. It\u2019s also much easier on my neck and shoulders as they\u2019re held in a fixed position. When I\u2019m feeling comfortable, my ability to diagnose is improved and the treatment is of the highest quality. It\u2019s a win-win situation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The loupes are attached to spectacles. I have normal vision but the spectacles can be fitted with prescription lenses. The magnification is variable and can be set to suit specific situations. The Orascoptic loupes are easy to wear and put no strain on your eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-s-not-so-good\">What\u2019s not so good<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As I\u2019m so used to working with a bright light for eight to 10 hours a day, I\u2019ve found I also need illumination when reading a book. I believe that long-term use of loupes can also have a negative effect on eyesight.
