ADA NSW has announced the official launch of its new Digital Training Centre (DTC) and Learning Management System (LMS)—a landmark investment in the future of dental education and professional development in Australia.

Opening last month at ADA NSW headquarters in St Leonards, the DTC aims to deliver the most advanced learning experiences for dental professionals. This purpose-built facility is equipped with the latest digital dentistry tools, including intraoral scanners, CAD/CAM systems, and 3D printers—ensuring dental practitioners have access to the most current technologies available.

“The DTC is more than a modern training space; it’s a strategic investment in the future of dentistry,” ADA NSW president Dr Dominic Aouad said.

The development of the DTC has been made possible through a strong partnership with Henry Schein.

“By combining ADA NSW’s educational leadership with our technological expertise, we are creating an environment where practitioners can refine their skills using cutting-edge digital tools,” said Henry Schein Australia’s general manager of Commercial Dental, Michael Fahey.

Alongside the DTC, ADA NSW is also rolling out a new Learning Management System (LMS) through its CPD program, further supporting the strategic vision of becoming the leading provider of dental education and professional development.

This platform will enable flexible, on-demand, and interactive learning opportunities—particularly benefiting dental professionals in rural, regional, and remote areas.

“This LMS is a significant step forward in how ADA NSW delivers education,” ADA NSW board director Dr Cathleen Dong said.

“We’re evolving to meet the changing needs of our members while maintaining the high standards our CPD programs are known for.”

The LMS and DTC will expand access to workshops, seminars, online courses, and expert-led sessions across a range of dental disciplines—with a focus on digital innovation and clinical excellence.
